The City of Toronto enlisted Artopex’s expertise in creating collaborative workspaces that foster employee wellbeing. The biggest challenge was to design a workspace for 140 workstations where there was originally 70. The solution included a variety of Artopex office furniture to respond to the functional requirements and space limitations. Uni-T system was used to contain one zone of workstations creating a collaborative community. Each workstation is equipped with Take Off adjustable table to enable the user to vary their working position throughout the day and a Vortex Mesh ergonomic task chair to ensure the user is comfortable while sitting. Nano systems furniture and Air Line power units separate workstations in the open office space. Each workstation has a pedestal for storage. A wall of metal filing cabinets provides extra document storage space. The result is a collaborative micro-community focused on wellbeing in the office.
